The Sunday Times votes for Yardley
JOHANNESBURG, 26th August 2010 – YARDLEY was recently voted the best Beauty and Cosmetics brand in South Africa! The theme for the Sunday Times Top Brands Awards was “What a year, what a country, what a brand” which echoed the successful year South Africa has had as hosts of the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
The Sunday Times Top Brands Survey was successfully administered by TNS Research Surveys, who highlighted that strong iconic brands came through strongly as consumers returned to brands they know and love. TNS spoke to 3500 consumers in South Africa as well as 400 various business leaders with regard to categories relevant to business needs and services.
Within the Beauty and Cosmetics Category, YARDLEY achieved a 63.1 within the Consumer national, brand relationship index score. Competitor’s score:
